General IHWSH Wellness
Allow us to be a part of your pre-shift. A member of our IHWSH outreach team will prepare a quick pre-shift to share all the preventative services our organization has to offer at no cost to your establishment. This is a quick breakdown of our preventative wellness services, mental health services, and full spectrum reproductive services. We will have someone onsite to answer questions or concerns. As well to assist anyone wanting to sign up for services.
QPR
Think CPR for suicide prevention. QPR stands for Question. Persuade. Refer.
Food & Beverage professionals are amongst the highest ranked industry dealing with suicide ideation and suicide. QPR helps people learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Become a QPR trained Gatekeeper and help save a life.
As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper you will learn to:
Recognize the warning signs of suicide
Know how to offer hope
Know how to get help and save a life
I’ll Have What She’s Having through our Keep Well initiative can host an onsite training for all staff of food & beverage establishment.

Mental Health 101
The Keep Well initiative from IHWSH is happy to partner with Grace Lynch of Champion Counseling to provide your bar or restaurants with a mental health 101 pre-shift. This training is designed to be 15 minutes to a long form option of 40 minutes. This training is lead by Grace Lynch, LMSW and walks your staff and management through mental health stress warning signs, practical tools to curb triggers and stressors, and resources. This training is designed to not only address mental health issues that can arise in the workplace but curb the stigma around addressing them.
Naloxone/Narcan
This 30 minute training could save a life. Naloxone training is instruction on how to recognize an opioid overdose and safely administer the reversal medication naloxone (often known by the brand name Narcan). This course has hands on instruction and practical conversations about administering naloxone in a food & beverage environment. Every participant and establishment will leave with a two dose box of naloxone.
